3D BUBBLE LINER
Designed and tested to meet the needs of racers like Valentino Rossi, this special three-dimensional fabric enables an air chamber to be created between the inside and the outside of the garment; this chamber forms an insulating liner that maintains an ideal microclimate during both summer and winter.
3D STONE
An innovative high-tech fabric, Dainese 3D Stone is made of 100% high-tenacity nylon in a special chunky three-dimensional weave that creates micro air-pockets. These retard abrasion by generating outstanding mechanical strength, which reaches even higher levels thanks to a polyurethane resin finish that provided abrasion resistance for up to 8 seconds during EN 13595-2 tests.
ALUMINUM HONEYCOMB
Aluminum honeycomb forms the central layer of Dainese’s wave back protector. Its honeycomb structure ensures excellent shock absorption performance and better protection thanks to the capability to progressively alter and dissipate the force of an impact.
ARAMIDIC FIBER
Aramidic Fiber is a high performace fiber with elevated resistance to tear, wear, shear and heat complemented by low electrical conductivity and high resistance to chemical corrosion. This excellent mechanical performance is matched by the lightweight and softness of the thread that guarantees comfort and a perfect fit at the same time.
ARROW XF
ARROW XF is a revolutionary elastic fabric developed and designed by the Dainese Technology Center. This innovative material is optimized to provide unmatched performance even when exposed to the most extreme conditions, setting new standards for abrasion, cut and tear resistance. Its unique composition allows this fabric to guarantee outstanding freedom of movement in four directions and, additionally, as inner lining is no longer required in garment construction, Arrow XF always provides a perfect fit. Another key property of this innovative fabric is its breathability, which prevents the rider from overheating and allows the air to travel through the fabric keeping a steady internal temperature.
AXIAL DISTORSION CONTROL SYSTEM
The Axial Distortion Control System for feet works thanks to an articulated structure integrated into the boot that serves a triple purpose: it protects against sprains, it reduces intensity of impact by distributing it over the structure‘s entire surface, and it stops objects from entering the shoe.
CRASH ABSORB
Special material (water-repellent elastic-visco nitrile rubber) with shape retention memory and excellent force absorption that adapts perfectly to the shape of the body and ensures optimum fit.
XT MEMBRANE
XT Membrane is the evolution of D-Dry® membrane and brings a new level of comfort to laminated, waterproof motorcycle gear. This technology is embodied by the laminated 4-way stretch membrane that provides optimum comfort together with guaranteed impermeability to water and air. Its elevated breathability ensures the evaporation of perspiration in all weather conditions.
D-STONE™
D-Stone™ is an extremely tough material mainly used for Dainese boots and textile clothing. D-Stone is made of high density twisted nylon with elasticated inserts faced with nylon. This creates an armored weave effect that offers exceptional comfort characterized by high resistance to abrasion, damage, and tear, with a performance comparable to leather.
D-THERMO INSULATION
Dainese‘s synthetic microfiber thermal insulation material. It offers good standards in terms of warmth-to-weight ratio and a relatively good compressibility.
DAINESE ARMALITH TEX
A unique yarn made of cotton, Lycra® and UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) fiber. This very lightweight material, used in the field of industrial safety, is more resistant to abrasion than cordura or aramid fiber and offers greater mechanical strength than steel. Superior protection, in a single-layer yarn with no additional layers, which has the same consistency, softness and comfort as normal denim.
DERMIZAX™ EV
Dermizax™ EV is a waterproof, windproof, and wicking membrane that utilizes moving molecules, as opposed to most other membranes which have micropores. This offers a number of advantages and makes Dermizax™ shell clothing the very best on the market thanks to its high performance and superior durability. The Dermizax™ membrane is extremely flexible. It has an elasticity of more than 200%. In practice, this means that the membrane can be stretched up to twice its own length in four directions. This ensures that Dermizax™ garments are very comfortable to move in, while reducing the risk of delamination during extreme activities.
ERGOMOVE
Dainese Ergo-Move construction is the result of extensive studies into human ergonomics, providing skiers with maximum comfort and freedom of movement. Each garment is designed using stretch fabrics on the areas that require the greatest flexibility, constructed using innovative shapes, such as pre-curved sleeves, that follow the movements of your body during physical activities. Selected models also boast Ripstop fabric in areas most susceptible to abrasion and impact, for additional resistance and durability, so the skier is ready to face whatever challenge the slopes throw. FLEX DYNAMIC ARMOR
Flex Dynamic Armor on footwear instep are designed to ensure the highest protection and freedom of movement. The sliding injected TPU plates protect from rocks and anything that may hit while riding, especially offroad. At the same time, the ankle is free to move and operate brake and gear shifter in a very precise way.
GLOVES OUTER (G.O.) POCKETS
The unique external G.O. Pockets are an exclusive and extremely functional feature for true adventure lovers. These pockets are designed to quickly store gloves during short breaks and allow to conveniently keep all essential equipment always close at hand.
MAGIC CONNECTION®
The Dainese Magic Connection® technology is a magnetic system that allows compatible Dainese gloves to be secured conveniently to the jacket. This way gloves are always in reach and don’t get lost when refueling or during short stops.
MICRO-ELASTIC
This Dainese patented technology has raised safety and comfort to new levels: it consists of one large panel in leather with elasticated bellows stretching perpendicularly in two directions, width and length, offering the wearer greater freedom of movement in the kidney area (when hunched over the fuel tank) as well as in the chest area and arms.
NANOFEEL® LINING
Innovative lining in bacteriostatic polyester yarn developed through nanotechnology research. Treating the nano-particles with silver ions ensures greater efficacy in terms of antibacterial and anti-odor properties, durability and wash resistance, as the silver particles are incorporated in the fiber itself and not merely applied to the outside, as in the case of conventional bacteriostatic yarns.
POLARTEC® HIGH LOFT™
Polartec® High Loft™ was created to expand and enhance the performance benefits and design applications of fleece technologies. By utilizing a high loft fiber construction we developed a stunningly soft and fluffy structure that compresses to pack easily in small spaces. Large air pockets created by the extended fibers retain optimal warmth to provide the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of any thermal fleece fabric available today. The lofted fibers create large air pockets for retaining optimal body warmth and releasing excess heat offering enhanced breathability during activities. This fluffy structure also reduces surface friction for comfortable layering with other materials.
POLARTEC® POWER AIRTM
Polartec® Power Air™ is a revolutionary knitted fabric that encapsulates micro air pockets. This technology allows excellent maintenance of body heat and substantial reduction in microfiber lost over time. The construction is designed for maximum thermal efficiency, shedding out into the environment up to five times less than other premium mid-layers, so it keeps you warm for longer with less impact on the planet.
POLARTEC® POWER DRY®
Polartec® Power Dry® fabrics are designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat. All fabrics in this series feature a patented bi-component knit construction that uses different yarns on each side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly.
POLARTEC® POWER SHIELD®
Polartec® Power Shield® has been developed to bring greater strength and versatility to the soft shell fabric category. The design of a dense knit multi-component fabric allowed for a stronger balance between warmth, weather resistance and breathability to be introduced. This adaptable protection set a new industry standard for performance fabrics that stay comfortable while excelling in any weather condition. By integrating an advanced micro-porous membrane between a durable weather-repellent exterior we created a resilient outerwear fabric with increased breathability. The ability to block wind and water was finally directly integrated with a surface technology that could consistently increase breathability during any activity.
POLARTEC® POWER WOOL™
Polartec® Power Wool™ is a design breakthrough combining the distinct advantages of natural and synthetic fibers in a bi-component fabric. Industry standards for blending different yarns into a mixed composition reduce the chance of potential benefits and hampers overall fabric performance. By isolating a merino wool interior and a synthetic fiber exterior, we developed a hybrid fabric with distinct surface features to optimize wicking, breathability, odor resistance and durability. Wool fibers offer increased basic comfort by retaining insulation and breathability even when wet. Their absorbent nature drives moisture vapor away from your skin and towards the outer synthetic layer, where it expands and evaporates more quickly. This mechanical wicking action allows Polartec® Power Wool™ to prevent moisture from settling at all times.
POLARTEC® THERMAL PRO®
Polartec® Thermal Pro® fabrics are the most visually dynamic and technically advanced of the Polartec® insulation fabrics. Available in a variety of unique surface textures and patterns, of which many enhance performance, Polartec® Thermal Pro® fabrics are great stylish options for virtually every occasion. New high loft versions have achieved the highest warmth-to-weight ratios that any fabric Polartec® has ever offered. Other versions look like traditional wool but have all the performance benefits of fleece. Polartec® Thermal Pro® is our most diverse family of fabrics.

PrimaLoft uses technologies that provide comfort solutions with high-performance insulation, fabrics and yarns. The PrimaLoft® Cross Core™ series represents a significant advancement in Primaloft technological capabilities. The PrimaLoft® Cross Core™ series combines multiple PrimaLoft® technologies to create next-level comfort and performance.
PRIMALOFT® SILVER INSULATION BOOST
A hybrid of PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Down Blend and PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation, PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Boost is a blend of 80% PrimaLoft® ultra-fine fibers and 20% water-repellent down engineered to deliver incredible lightweight warmth and performance in wet weather with a luxuriously soft and remarkably slim silhouette. Unmatched warmth-to-thickness thermals mean more warmth in a smaller package for greater agility and freedom of movement, while PrimaLoft® proprietary treatment ensures protective performance in variable conditions. This solution combines the wet-weather protection of PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation with enhanced down for streamlined performance.
PRIMALOFT® THERMAL PADDING
This thermal padding in high quality microfiber offers great insulation properties, as well as light weight, softness, and low water absorption. Thanks to its high compression capacity, the padding can find application in a wide range of extreme sporting goods.

PRO ARMOR sets the benchmark for breathability, ergonomics and protection featuring a functional pattern inspired by the fractals principle, the nature’s language used to create complex structures that now becomes the new Dainese’s protective design code. With the ultimate blend of mobility and protection, the low-profile design delivers unrestricted movement and all-day comfort while still meeting the EN 1621.1 European standards for impact protectors.
PRO-SHAPE 2.0
Pro-Shape 2.0 is the protector inspired by auxetics, forms found in nature with the quality of expanding in any direction when pulled or put under pressure. Made of carbon elastomer material, it can absorb 83% of impact force without any of it being transmitted to the body. Open across 55% of its surface, it allows for a continuous flow of air, for optimal perspiration management. Due to its pre-curved structure, it perfectly adapts to the rider’s movements, guaranteeing superior stability and freedom of movement.
QUICKDRY FRAME®
Designed to channel moisture away from the body, Quickdry Frame® is the technology to ride always dry and comfortable. Coupled with Dainese premium materials, thanks to its functional pattern, Quickdry Frame® makes materials dry 30% faster.
S1 FABRIC
S1 fabric was developed to improve comfort and also to facilitate airflow through the garment. This material is made of elastomer coated with cordura polyamide, which gives it unmatched mechanical strength and elastic properties to guarantee excellent comfort levels. Nanotechnologies are applied to ensure the best water-/oil-repellent properties.
SCARABEO PRO-SHAPE
Technologies developed for champions, designed to fit young riders. Scarabeo Pro-Shape protectors are devised to accompany children through their growing performance, and employ the same materials used in protectors for adults. Inspired by auxetics, the carbonelastomer protector absorbs 83% of impact force. Open across 55% of its surface, it ensures maximum ventilation in any condition. The precurved structure faithfully adapts to all body movements, guaranteeing stability and vast freedom of movement.
THERMAL PADDING
Thermal Padding is a thermal lining that ensures high heat insulation, maintaining a steady internal temperature. The high quality construction and prestigious materials used allow for the weight and thickness of Dainese linings to be reduced without altering their thermal capacities and riding comfort.
TIGHTENING STRAP
This strap, placed on the glove’s cuff, prevents the glove from coming off even partially during a fall, while also keeping the rigid inserts in their correct position in every situation.
TRAILKNIT
TRAILKNIT is a fabric construction developed by electronic knitting machines linking loops of yarns on needles. This knitted construction differs from a traditional woven fabric as it is more flexible and can be more effortlessly constructed. TRAILKNIT has been developed for garments that are elastic and better respond to the rider’s motion. A garment featuring a knitted construction is more form fitting, since its elasticity allows it to contour the body more closely. Knitted constructions also enable extra curvature to be introduced without seams – akin to the heel of a sock. Knitting allows an extremely complex fabric construction: The yarn in TRAILKNIT fabric follows a meandering path that can change seamlessly forming different stitching patterns that design precise functional zoning with engineered performance in key areas.
